Today we are offering a complete tube system: Dynaco ST 70 amp, preamp and phono amp.
This system is
extremely clear, crisp and has a 3 dimensional detail to it. The Dynaco
ST-70 has an upgraded power supply and a triode tube board. It retains all
of the original transformers. It is currently wired for 8 ohms. The
cloth wires are still there for changing to 4 or 16 ohms if needed. A
meter with a switch and 2 pots adjust the bias for the output tubes. There
are 2 meters on the front for left and right channel along with a switch to
change meter output during high volume usage. All rca's are gold plated as
well as the banana jacks on the back. The components are put together with
brass screws and nuts. The output tubes are a matched quad of SED Winged C EL34
tubes. There are 2 NOS 6AU6 Tung-Sol tubes and 1 NOS 12BH7A Tung-Sol
tube.
These units are hand wired and have lazer etched fronts.
The Phono Stage has settings for
almost every high output cartridge. You can adjust resistance from 50k to
1000k instantly by turning a knob. Capacitance can be set from 100 to
300. The 4 tubes are new Russian E88CC type and are dead quiet. The
volume control knob allows for a huge amount of gain adjustment. This is
truely a great phono stage when used with the preamp. The Dynaco ST-70
really comes alive. Nothing beats that vintage sound of tubes across the
board. Your vinyl will never sound better. All RCA's are gold plated
as well as grounding wire connection.
The Preamp has input jacks for a
wide range of equipment. There is a balance control knob for balancing the
system to your room. The volume control allows the system to have
different gain ranges when used in conjuction with the phono stage. This
is used by itself when playing cd's etc. The output tubes are 2 NOS
Sylvania JAN 6SL7GT's and the Rectifier is a NOS Tung-Sol 5Y3GT. All RCA's
are gold plated | ||
